Focus Features Sets U.S. Release Date for Edward Berger's Thriller Conclave

Conclave will be released in theaters in NY and LA on November 1, before expanding on November 8.

Conclave will be released in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on November 1, 2024. The film will expand on November 8, 2024.

The film is Edward Berger’s follow up to the 2022 Oscar® winning film, All Quiet on the Western Front. It's written by Peter Straughan, and the cast features Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Lucian Msamati, Brían F. O’Byrne, Carlos Diehz, Merab Ninidze with Sergio Castellitto and Isabella Rossellini.

Based on Robert Harris’ best-selling novel of the same name, Conclave follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events—selecting a new Pope. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence finds himself at the center of a conspiracy and discovers a secret that could shake the very foundation of The Church.
