Piece By Piece and Conclave Named Official Selections of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival
The 49th annual Toronto International Film Festival will be held from September 5 to September 15.
This morning, Piece By Piece and Conclave were both announced as official selections of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
In theaters October 11, Piece By Piece is a unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams. Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music's most innovative minds.
And from Academy Award winner Edward Berger, director of All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events—selecting a new Pope. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence finds himself at the center of a conspiracy and discovers a secret that could shake the very foundation of The Church. The film—starring Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Lucian Msamati, Brían F. O’Byrne, Carlos Diehz, Merab Ninidze, Thomas Loibl with Sergio Castellitto and Isabella Rossellini—is in theaters November 1.
