Under The Electric Sky

Sadie, a small-town Texas college student, suffers from chronic anxiety and was tormented by bullies in her youth. A girl who never quite fit in and has barely experienced life beyond her hometown, Sadie is about to enter the neon, Technicolor world of the Electric Daisy Carnival…A group of Massachusetts guy friends who call themselves “the original wolfpack” board an RV carrying on in memory of a fallen friend…Long-distance lovers and young professionals, Jim from Tokyo and Jenna from NYC are 2 days, 15 hours, 3 minutes and 11 seconds from seeing each other for the first time in six months…Six friends in an open, unconventional relationship –  a rave family – hit the road to “eat, sleep, rave, repeat…” Jose may be physically disabled and bound to a wheelchair, but his heart soars and mind dances entering the festival grounds…And then there’s Alli and Matt, who fell in love at the Electric Daisy Carnival 15 years ago. Two kids and thousands of kandi bracelets later, they will finally marry.

These are six stories out of 345,000 that will unfold throughout the three-day EDC, the largest music festival in America – where the fans are the headliners in a show that adheres to the mantra peace, love, unity, and respect.

At the center of the carnival is Insomniac's Pasquale Rotella, a P.T. Barnum for the new millennium, who has charged his team with pulling out all the stops – performance artists, strobe light shows, massive art installations, epic firework displays, and a reverberating sound system – to make the experience utterly and unbelievably magical.

With riveting performances and pulsating beats created by acclaimed DJs including Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack, Fatboy Slim, Avicii, Above & Beyond, Tiesto, and Calvin Harris, and an inspiring score by Kaskade, filmmakers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz (Katy Perry: Part of Me) drop their 3D lens in the middle of the desert to capture the most electrifying show on earth where 345,000 hearts beat in unison.
