Kayli Carter as Lorna Blackledge
Kayli Carter most recently starred opposite Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne and Sarah Paulson in the Hulu mini-series Mrs. America. Additionally, she was in the HBO feature Bad Education with Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney (HBO bought the film for $20 million at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival).
Carter was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for her performance in Tamara Jenkins’ Private Life. The film, which was released by Netflix, also starred Paul Giamatti and Kathryn Hahn. Additionally, she starred as “Squeaky” Fromme in Mary Harron’s ensemble feature Charlie Says, which premiered at the 2018 Venice Film Festival and was nominated for a Venice Horizons Award for Best Film.
On television, she starred in Netflix’s acclaimed mini-series Godless opposite Jeff Daniels, Michelle Dockery, Jack O’Connell and Merritt Wever. Godless received an Emmy Award® nomination for Outstanding Limited Series as well as 11 other Emmy® nominations (and some wins), among other awards recognition.
On stage, Carter originated the role of Flo in Mark Rylance’s Olivier Nominated Comedy, Nice Fish (West End, St. Ann’s Warehouse, American Repertory Theater) and most recently starred in the Off-Broadway production of Tracy Letts’ Mary Page Marlowe.
Carter is a New York-based actor who graduated with a BFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design.
