Karen Gillan as Ellen

Karen Gillan (Ellen) is currently shooting Guardians of the Galaxy 2, reprising her role as the villain Nebula opposite Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Benicio Del Toro, and Chris Pratt, directed by James Gunn. 

Karen wrapped shooting James Ponsoldt’s The Circle with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. She can most recently be seen in Adam McKay’s Best Picture nominated The Big Short, alongside Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and Steve Carell, and appeared in the box office hit horror/thriller film Oculus, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.

She was also recently seen starring opposite John Cho in the comedy series Selfie. She will next star alongside Ethan Hawke and John Travolta in the western, In A Valley Of Violence, directed by Ti West, which debuted at SXSW. Karen also recently shot 7 Days In Hell opposite Andy Samberg and directed by Jake Szymanski which also stars Will Forte and Mary Steenburgen. She played the romantic lead in John McKay’s romantic comedy Not Another Happy Ending and portrayed Jean Shrimpton the drama We’ll Take Manhattan opposite Aneurin Barnard as photographer David Bailey for director John McKay. Karen is also known for critically-acclaimed series Doctor Who.
