David Bomba | Production Designer
David Bomba most recently designed “Ozark” Season 3 for Netflix, for which he has been nominated for an Emmy® for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Contemporary Program.
Bomba also designed A Million Little Pieces directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, written by and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson. He also created the look for Dee Rees’s Oscar nominated WWII epic drama, Mudbound. Other notable credits include Emilio Estevez’s The Public; the Netflix mini-series “Godless,” for director Scott Frank; Jon Turteltaub’s Last Vegas, starring Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro; Carl Franklin’s period drama Bless Me Ultima; Shana Feste’s Oscar-nominated country music drama Country Strong; John Well’s The Company Men, starring Ben Affleck; Denzel Washington’s award winning drama The Great Debaters and James Mangold’s incredibly beautiful Oscar-winning Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line, for which Bomba won an Art Director’s Guild Award. Bomba formerly received accolades from the Guild for his work on Michael Christofer’s HBO film Gia, featuring a young Angelina Jolie as one of America’s first supermodels. Among many other national commercials and music videos, David recently designed the Jack White “Corporation” video that won the best rock video at the UK Music Video Awards. He has also been honored by the College of Architecture at Texas A&M University as a Distinguished Alumni.
