Throughout the course of working on any given film we as marketers have to see the movie multiple times. You can always tell the best ones - those that get better and touch you deeper with each viewing. LOST IN TRANSLATION was one of those films. I found it profoundly personal, tender and moving, and ultimately universal.
The one scene in particular that encapsulated the film's essence for me was when Charlotte, jetlagged and unable to sleep, pays Bob, also unable to sleep, a visit in his hotel room. After watching some tv they start talking. They are at this point lying on the bed a few feet apart from one another. As they start to doze off Bob shares that life gets a lot more complicated when you have kids...
