Elliot Tiber sees Taking Woodstock
Elliot Tiber was working at a run-down motel that his crazy family ran in Bethel, NY, when he heard that the organizers of the Woodstock concert had lost their festival permit. As luck would have it, he had a music festival permit. That stroke of luck changed American history and Tiber’s life. His memoir Taking Woodstock served as the basis for Ang Lee’s new film Taking Woodstock. We sat down with Elliot Tiber to talk about his life, the movie about his life, and everything in between.
