This article is okay. . . . but it doesn't do this delightful movie justice. This is a great, sweet, romantic, light comedy. . . the dialogue is so sharp and fine. . . I wanted to sit through a second showing immediately just to savor all the language but I had to get going. Great, sweet movie. We need lots more like this one.
Gloria (Catherine O'Hara) and Jerry (Jeff Daniels) announce to their son (John Krasinski) and daughter in law (Maya Rudolph) that they are moving far away from them, and from their unborn grandchild.
The airline doesn't want Verona (Maya Rudolph) to fly when she and Burt (John Krasinski) get to the ticket counter, because they claim she looks 8 months pregnant.
