Chung Seo-kyung

Screenplay

Chung Seo-kyung met Park Chan-wook while he was a juror at the Kodak short film competition, where her graduation piece Electricians won First Prize.

Working closely with him in the years since, she and Park wrote the screenplays for his films Sympathy for Lady Vengeance; I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK, which won Best Screenplay at the 2007 Sitges-Catalonian International Film Festival; and Thirst, which was conceived prior to their other films together.

Chung’s other feature credits as screenwriter include Nam Seon-ho’s Family Matters.
