Paz De La Huerta previously starred opposite Isaach De Bankolé in Kevin Asher Green’s Homework, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival; Steven Kessler’s 5up 2down; and Amy Redford’s The Guitar, with Saffron Burrows.

Born in New York City, she began acting in movies as she entered her teenage years. After making her screen debut in Nicholas Hytner’s The Object of My Affection, she starred opposite Deborah Kara Unger in Bette Gordon’s Luminous Motion.

Director Lasse Hallström then cast Ms. De La Huerta in her breakthrough role in The Cider House Rules, with Tobey Maguire, Charlize Theron, and Academy Award winner Michael Caine.

After graduating from school, she studied under Marcia Haufrecht at The Actors Studio. Ms. De La Huerta has since made screen appearances in the occasional major-studio film, such as Adam Shankman’s A Walk to Remember, with Shane West and Mandy Moore; and a variety of independent features. The latter have included Ethan Hawke’s Chelsea Walls; Griffin Dunne’s Fierce People; Curtiss Clayton’s Rick; Clark Gregg’s Choke; and Jane Ainbinder’s Nail Polish, with Alexandra Lydon.

She will soon be seen starring in the much-anticipated new movie from Gasper Noé, Enter the Void.
