blog: Milk takes New York Film Critics Awards

This afternoon, the New York Film Critics Circle announced their choices for best films of 2008. Best Film went to Milk and best actor went to Sean Penn for his performance as Milk. Josh Brolin picked up his second best supporting honor for his performace as Dan White, the repressed heterosexual killer of Milk. The New York circle is a group of 33 film journalists who are based in the New York area. They will hold an awards ceremony on January 5th for the winners.
