Be Familiar with your Coffee Filter

Ever notice a strange taste to your freshly brewed morning cup of coffee? If so, it might be time to change your brand of coffee filter. Recently, the Today Show’s food editor Phil Lempert brought to light issues surrounding bleached coffee filters and dioxins that can alter the taste and health aspect of your coffee. Some suggestions to remedy the issue are to use permanent stainless steel filters or unbleached (brown) paper filters.
