Ben Stiller is an Emmy award-winning actor, writer, director, and producer.
The Ben Stiller Show
After “Saturday Night Live,” Ben Stiller got two variety shows, one right after the other. In 1991, MTV launched “The Ben Stiller Show,” which blended sketches, music videos and short parody films. In 1992, after MTV dropped the show, Fox started their own “Ben Stiller Show.” Family and friends (Judd Apatow, Andy Dick, Janeane Garofalo, Bob Odenkirk, and more) all helped out to write and perform sketches. The show broke new comedy ground by being the first variety program not to use a laugh track. And although Stiller's second variety show was also cancelled, it received an Emmy for its writing.
