Get To Know Your Rabbit Movies

As a special Easter article, FilmInFocus puts together a list of the best and weirdest films involving our floppy-eared friends.
Slide 7: Fatal Attraction (1987)
The films on this list predominantly have rabbits in the title or have plots which revolve in some way around cute, cunicular creatures, with the exception of this particular entry. That said, it’s pretty much impossible to make a list of rabbit-related movies and not include Adrian Lyne’s seminal psychological thriller Fatal Attraction on there, as the film’s most memorable and shocking scene involves a rabbit. In it, Glenn Close exacts a cruel and unusual revenge on Michael Douglas, the married man who had a one night stand with her, by killing his daughter’s rabbit and then cooking it in Douglas’ own kitchen. The term “bunny boiler,” used to refer to a psychotic or obsessive woman, was instantly coined.
