Alex Borstein
Mrs. Henscher
Alex Borstein is best known for voicing Lois Griffin on the animated television series Family Guy, which will soon air its 200th episode. As a writer/producer on the series for several years, she shared in the show’s Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Animated Program.
She is currently a consulting producer, writer, and actress on another hit series, Shameless, which will return for a third season in January 2013.
Ms. Borstein previously wrote for, and performed on, the late-night sketch comedy series MADtv for several seasons.
No stranger to the feature world, Ms. Borstein has appeared in such films as Seth MacFarlane’s Ted; Scott Frank’s The Lookout; George Clooney’s Good Night, and Good Luck.; and Jim Fall’s The Lizzie McGuire Movie, to name a few.
