Gus Van Sant's PROMISED LAND arrives December 28, 2012

A new holiday gift, Focus Features has announced that Gus Van Sant's drama PROMISED LAND is set to be in theaters in New York City and Los Angeles on December 28, 2012.  Written by and starring Matt Damon and John Krasinski, the story follows a corporate salesman (Damon) whose attempt to buy drilling rights in a small town go terribly awry. The film includes a remarkable cast, including Rosemarie DeWitt, Hal Holbrook, Scoot McNairy, Titus Welliver, and Frances McDormand. For complete details, see the official press release.
