Woodstock Takes Woodstock
On Saturday, Ang Lee's new movie for Focus Features, Taking Woodstock, had a special screening in association with the Woodstock Film Festival. Attending were Lee and the film's writer-producer James Schamus, who were snapped there for indieWIRE by Dion Qgust. The sold-out show at the Tinker Street Cinema was the first time that the movie (which is released on August 28) had screened in Woodstock.
You can read a report on the screening by Kyle Wind on the website of the Hudson Valley newspaper the Daily Freeman.
