Sue Tebbutt
Production Designer
Award-winning production designer Sue Tebbutt has worked on music videos for a wide range of artists, including Kings of Leon, Shakira, Interpol, Naughty By Nature, LL Cool J, and Wyclef Jean. Her commercial design work includes spots for Adidas, PlayStation, Cadillac, Hulu, Revlon, and Axe. In the course of her career, Ms. Tebbutt has collaborated with directors such as Floria Sigismondi, Roman Coppola, Mark Romanek, Jaume Collet-Serra, and Malcolm Venville.
She shared the Music Video Production Association (MVPA) Video of the Year Award for her work on Christina Aguilera’s “Hurt;” received an MVPA Art Direction Award nomination for The Cure’s “The End of the World;” was an MTV Video Music Award nominee for The White Stripes’ “Blue Orchid;” and won CAD Awards (Britain’s top music videos honors) for her art direction on “The End of the World” and Electric 6’s “Danger High Voltage.”
For a Good Time, Call… is Ms. Tebbutt’s first feature film as production designer after working on short films such as Charlie White’s Pink and American Minor, which screened at the 2009 Sundance and Cannes International Film Festivals; David Fowler’s Shoat; Georgie Greville and Geremy Jasper’s Glamouriety;; and Harmony Korine’s Rebel, starring James Franco, which was shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
