The Boston Globe Explores the Worlds of William Eubank

Focus Features 06.09.2014

Tom Russo at The Boston Globe sat down with William Eubank, the writer/director of the upcoming sci-fi adventure THE SIGNAL to talk about how he directs and where THE SIGNAL Comes from. Fascinating piece with lovely portrait shot by Suzanne Kreiter above. Having written a tale that starts off with several MIT students tracking down a notorious hacker, Eubank reveals at one point in the profile his own experience in the field:

My friend and I entered this hacking competition where you drove around Vegas for an hour seeing how many open IP addresses you could map out...Things were different then, and there was a lot of unsecured Wi-Fi.
