Reynald Bertrand has written, directed, photographed, and edited the short film Flowers for Diana and the feature film La Crème. Mr. Bertrand earned awards around the world, including the Audience Award at the 2008 Oxford Film Festival, for the latter comedy, starring Nicolas Abraham. La Crème was also showcased in the Next Wave section of 2008’s Fantastic Fest, in Austin, Texas.
He has also edited several short films starring Nicolas Abraham, all for writer/director Frédéric Pelle; these include Une séparation, Le vigile, Chambre 616, Le caissier, and Le corbeau.
Mr. Bertrand’s feature editing credits include, also for Babies producers Chez Wam, Bruno & Nicolas’ La Personne aux deux Personnes (a.k.a. Me Two), starring Daniel Auteuil and Alain Chabat; Eric Lartigau’s Un ticket pour l’espace, starring Kad Merad; and Michel Haznavicius’ smash comedy 0SS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies, starring Jean Dujardin.
